Ingrediants:
Rice-1 cup
lemon-1/2(depens upon it sourness)
redchilli-2
hing-pinch
channadhal-1/2 tsp
mustard,urud dhal for seasoning.
turmeric powder-/14 tsp
oil as needed.(sesame oil)
water-13/4 cup
Method:
Pressure cook rice for 1 whistle.Not more than one whistle r else rice will become sticky.
while cooking add turmeric and 1 tsp oil +salt
In mean time -in kadai oil+mustard+urud dhal+redchilles.fry it .switch off the stove.now immedietly add hing and curry leaves.
In one bowl take lemon juice and add little salt.
Now remove the lid add lemon juice and add the fried itmes.stir it with fork so that the rice wont break.If u feel that the salt is less u can add when the mixture is hot.
best for lunch box...easy too..serve with potato fry or potato chips r coconut chuttney(without roasted gram)
Coconut chutney:
Take some pieces of coconut.Make it into small pieces.add garlicpods 3,blend both together.(not like paste) Now in kadai oil+mustard+urud dhal+curry leaves.fry it .switch of the stove immedieltly add the blended onces..stir it shift to some other bowl...chuttney is ready..goes good with lemon rice and tamarind rice
