somas.

Ingredients
Maida - 2 cups
Sugar ( powdered ) - 1/4 cup
Butter - 1/4 cup
Coconut - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Cooking soda - 1/4 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Tutti frutti - 1/4 cup
Cherry - 1/4 cup
Oil - as needed
Method
1. Mix maida, butter, cooking soda, powdered sugar, salt, water in a bowl, knead to a dough and set aside.
2. Mix coconut, sugar in a thick bottomed vessel and stir.
3. When sugar melts and contents thicken, remove pan from the stove, add tutti frutti, cherry and mix well.
4. Take a small ball of dough, roll into a circle.
5. Place coconut mix, fold the edges and set aside.
6. Repeat the process.
7. Heat oil in a frying pan.
8. Fry the somasi till golden and set aside.

Inside fillings:
If u dont like trutti frutti-coconut+sugar+poppy seeds(fried)+cashew(little fried)+fried rava(soji)+cardamon.
